What’s New in Ultra
One of the hallmarks of the Blackboard Ultra Experience is the speed with which new features are developed and released. In fact, new features become available every month! Some of these features are large updates with entirely new functionality, others are very small enhancements that improve the teaching and learning experience.
PLEASE NOTE: Not all new features are always turned on in Ultra. We may still be testing items or need more time to release them as we gather faculty feedback.
New Features for December
-
- Updates to Discussions: Instructors can mandate a number of posts/replies per Discussion topic, with automatic progress tracking tied to Gradebook and Progress Tracking. Students view requirements and their status in real-time, fostering accountability.
- Learning Module Table of Contents: Adds a collapsible Table of Contents panel in Learning Modules, mirroring the student view for easier navigation without Student Preview. On small screens, settings move to a header cog icon.
