As you all probably know by now, there isn’t a lot of visual customization that can be done in Ultra. But there is one thing you can do to personalize the look of your course (and for me, to differentiate all my intro shells on my Blackboard landing page without feeling totally senile): add a course banner (which will also be used as an image card on your Blackboard landing page).
Adding a course banner is easy. Below, I demonstrate how to do it in less than 2 minutes.
It goes quicker when I don’t have to talk. Draw your own conclusions.
When selecting an image you would like to use, keep in mind the weird dimensions for the banner, long width, low height, so an image taken with your phone in portrait mode will be doubleplusungood (if I were in charge of the universe, vertical videos would be banned).
Here is the list of steps for you to download and save.
Note: there will be no video of the happy dance.
