Welcome back to the Fall Term! There’s a lot going on as we get back into the swing of things this Fall, but as you get started with your courses here are some resources that will help you navigate some of the most frequently asked beginning of term questions and keep you up to date with any changes or adjustments that have happened to Blackboard while you were away.

LT Support Hours
While we’re happy to see everyone, please continue to email learningtech@cod.edu as much as possible to set up a time to meet during our business hours: Monday through Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Office staff will rotate between being on campus and working remotely and, depending on your question, in-person or online meeting formats may be more effective when discussing certain topics.

- Blackboard’s Grade Center can help you to complete your grade verifications during the term. Setting your total column as the External Grade will auto-populate each student’s up-to-date grade in the Academic Records Integration tool.

- Need to enter grades or verifications? You can find instructions for Roster Verification, Midterm Verification, Quarter and Midterm Grades, and Entering Final Grades.

YuJa Updates
The YuJa Media Platform recently got some updates that may improve your user experience, especially if you’re a Mac user. Here’s what’s new:
- New Media Player viewing options for multi-stream content. Users now have more flexible viewing options for multi-streamed content with the ability to hover over the content in the Media Player and select from a Side-by-Side, Picture-in-Picture or Single Source view.
- Improved media player accessibility and the ability to move the caption bar. Viewers can now dynamically move the caption bar around to suit their personal preferences.
- New Bulk Actions options for security. Set the security of a group of videos from Private to Public, or enable Portal Authentication at the same time using the new Bulk Security feature.
- On-Demand source switching in an Active Recording Session added to Apple Capture. Source switching has been added to YuJa’s Software Capture for Apple application. This allows Content Creators to enable and disable video, screen and microphone sources while they are actively recording.
