The Collaborate Ultra web-conferencing platform will be removed from Blackboard at the conclusion of the Spring 2024 term and Zoom has been selected as the optimal replacement. In anticipation of this transition, the Zoom for Synchronous Teaching workshop will equip faculty with the essential skills and best practices needed to efficiently transition from Collaborate Ultra to the dynamic and user-friendly Zoom platform.
Workshop participants will explore how the features and functionalities of Zoom compare to and even surpass Collaborate Ultra, learn how to confidently navigate and interact with students in Zoom, and gain hands-on experience in setting up synchronous teaching and office hours sessions in Blackboard.
