Guys, remember when I posted about the date management tool in Blackboard, and a whole bunch of you emailed about it? I still use it. So, of course, one of my main concerns, when I got started with the Ultra Course View (UCV), was whatever would happen with that tool because I knew it is one of the things that did not carry in Ultra. And the thought of having to go back to updating my due dates one by one was not cute.
Thankfully, Ultra has something similar, which makes updating due dates even easier. It’s part of a tool called batch edit. Y’all are going to learn to love batch edit.
Let me show you where to find it and how to use it.
Click on the three dots on the same line as Course Content:
Doing so will open a drop-down menu where batch edit is located.
Now, let’s look at the different ways batch edit works.
The documentation for batch edit is here, if you want to take a closer look. But as you can see, date management in the UCV is even easier than it currently is. So, the date management tool is dead, long live batch edit!
