Welcome back! We hope everyone had a restful and productive break from courses. It’s time to get back to work, however, and we’re here to help. Here’s what’s going on this week and some information you need to know to get the semester started.

Blackboard Updates

Over the break, Blackboard underwent an upgrade has now moved to the Blackboard Learn 2016 theme. What does that mean? Here are a few of the important changes that you’ll want to note:

  • Improved mobile navigation via logins, discussion boards and content areas.
  • The Submit button is pinned to the bottom of the screen (no need to scroll down)
  • WCAG 2.0 guidelines for accessibility. This means structure, color scheme and navigation that meets accessibility standards, which may cause some changes in your courses.

To learn more, go to our Knowledge Base. For specific questions, contact us directly and we’ll be happy to help.
