Welcome to a new feature we have to offer: Tech Minute! In each segment, we’ll address a small thing you can do in Blackboard to make your course work better for you AND your students. Without further ado, here’s the first Tech Minute! Have questions? Check out our knowledge base for additional information.
Did you know that there are a number of practice guides available to you for your professional development through the FPD at COD site? There are currently several topics available, but you are encouraged to submit your own ideas for additional topics.
The Learning Technologies team is growing! We’ve added a new instructional designer, Gabi. Gabi started with us at the end of April, and we encourage you to stop by and meet her if you’re in the neighborhood.
We’ve got a new course! It’s called Blackboard for New Users, and as you might imagine, it covers some of the basic elements of using Blackboard.
Do you have Adobe Flash videos, animations, or linked content in any of your courses? You’ll need to replace them ASAP, otherwise you might end up with broken and inaccessible content.
Ally is a new addition to the suite of tools available to you in Blackboard. Ally makes it easier to ensure that your course content is accessible and that your students can access file formats that best suit their needs and learning preferences.
